Terms of Service

1. You are buying a used time piece from the second hand market. Due to the time piece being marked as “used/pre-worn/carefully loved” you understand that what you are buying will havesigns of previous wear. This includes but is not limited to, scratches on lugs, case, bracelet and crystal. The watch you are buying has been carefully examined and listed as accurately as possible in the description. Certain imperfections can and will be expected to be found by you that we may have missed in our description. If the latter is considerable, we will work with you on a resolution to make sure you are happy with the transaction.

2. You have 24 hours from receiving the watch through the adult signature provided through FedEX/UPS/DHL to issue any claim against the watch if found not as described. After 24 hours, all sales are final.

3. There will be a 4% surcharge for any purchase made via credit card and this service is only for repeat customers.

4. All watches will be shipped to you through insured FedEx Priority Overnight delivery for a flat fee of $125. Saturday Priority Overnight delivery is available for an extra cost. Every watch will be insured for the value that you paid. In the event that FedEx is unavailable for any reason, UPS will be the carrier of choice. SkyCloud Luxe agrees to never ship a time piece through USPS. All time pieces are carefully packaged from the inside out with thorough video documentation.

5. The listing will provide a detailed description on whether the watch has been recently serviced. If the watch has not been serviced, and it has been outside of the recommended manufacturer's service time, we will run the watch through a timegrapher and provide you a picture of its ability to keep time per COSC standards. If we feel the watch requires service, and we choose to sell it as is without us having serviced it prior, we will include that in the listing description. Otherwise, you can expect the watch to be running smoothly and not in need of service.

6. If the original manufacturers warranty has lapsed, we provide a 12 month extended warranty on the movement. Customer will be responsible for shipping labels. We will cover all expenses behind servicing the time piece if any defects arise during the 12 month warranty period. Warranty does not cover acts of negligence or customer dropping the watch causing the movement to fracture or break. Customer agrees that due to the horological complexity of a movement, a service may take up to 3 months but the standard turn around time is 3-4 weeks. If the watch does not come with warranty cards, it will be described as a naked set. Even then, the warranty may have expired. SkyCloud Luxe 1 year extended warranty will always fill the gap from time of sale.

7. Photos shown of our timepieces are taken with a high quality photographic camera with a macro lens. This is done in order to show the condition of the watch in high detail. You may notice imperfections shown on the pictures that the camera lens was able to pick up but that your eye will not.

8. Each piece is guaranteed to be authentic, and will either come with authentication papers, or warranty papers that will show the provenance to the serial number. If any of these items are missing, it will be described in the listing.

9. If you choose to return a timepiece within the 24 hour timeframe, you agree to cover the return shipping. Return shipping CANNOT be through USPS. It must be with FedEx or UPS and must be packed in the same manner it was received or better. There are no exceptions to this.
